Not Worth My Time!

I tell you, if I stayed so connected with the media I have to admit I'd be so DISTRACTED. For indeed, my thoughts would be on stuff and people that it'd really would have no business on. However, to stay not so plugged into the media is a struggle I admit because no matter where you turn it is there boldly before you trying to bombard your mind and that's from everything now days. But, I can say from past experiences when I was not so strong to turn away from or stop the commercial or not click on the latest news update through my email system because I wanted to "JUST SEE" due to all the drama I experienced from those times I can say it has helped me tremendously to steer clear from the next drama issue set before me.  Yet, I can also admit when things started to hit closer to home it did and has become alot harder to turn away from however, I praise God for His continual ways of escape being to just turn stuff off or keep on going. Because looking back on the times when I wasn't as strong or used wisdom should I say, to turn away from the drama I noticed how that took up entirely too much of my thought process. To the point where I even got headaches and to see where it lead me in the end, when the next opportunity arose for me to "JUST SEE" I say as I did today, No thanks! I do not choose to permit you to take me to places I do not choose to go.  Not to mention when my mind is bogged down with other people's business not only am I not effective in doing those things I am supposed to be doing for God but I am also not doing what Philippians 4:8 tells me to do which reads:  Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

Therefore, with this word I'd like to encourage you as I continue to encourage myself to do not allow the media's hype to steal precious moments away from you but just as you prayerfully ponder and study your paths may you also ponder and study those things that try to come at you on a continual basis through the media. Whether it be through a radio station, TV program, commercial for that matter now days, an article while you're just flipping through a magazine, a bill board, thorough your email carrier etc. But instead may you be strengthened in God to say No! And turn away from those things that are not even worth engaging your precious mind or time with.

Denying my Flesh!

Fasting

When I fast what I am doing is denying my flesh from being fulfilled

Being that there is a war and my spirit has to win

My flesh has got to be killed.

Listen, God honors us when we deny our flesh

He not only sits high but also looks low

And does reward those who diligently seek Him

Read Hebrews 11:6 that this too you may know

Fasting is a key to take you into higher dimensions of freedom

Yes, it’s a key that’ll indeed help you die to your flesh and live spiritually.

See when I fast I’m able to focus and hear

I’m able to hear the Holy Spirit correct me, love me, guide me, etc.

My spiritual senses are heightened

And my spiritual eyes, ears and heart are enlightened

Now does my flesh ever want to fast, Oh No!

This is why; I can’t ever wait on my flesh to tell me when to do so,

Because it never will

However, my spirit on the other hand yearns for me to

Because it knows it’s a needed component

For my growth through and through

Fasting enables us to do a self check and this is a must for us to do

Because the only Jesus folks may see, the only Bible they may read,

And/or the only church they may ever have could only be you and me

So yes, it is imperative that we take this thing seriously

Now, I truly see why fasting to my flesh and the devil is such an enemy

For the reason being satan knows if I get in the presence of the Lord

Without hindrance I become more empowered

Not only in the natural but also in the spirit. Yes! Indeed

Though no, the desire to die to your flesh may not happen overnight

I’m here to tell you as long as you have the heart to do so

God will help you along the way

To stand up against your flesh and fight

The word of God tells us that man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord. Deuteronomy 8:3

 2 Corinthians 4:11 

For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

God's Love finding Me yet again!

It's amazing how much of God you can really see when you are delighting yourself in Him and the things that matter to Him.  As of lately, I have been heavily mediating on one particular scripture.  And I have been so drawn to it because it truly expresses my heart toward the Lord, it's a passage where I am letting Him know that He is my all in all!  Now what has blow my mind is that while I have been brooding over this passage and really just soaking in it, one day my husband came home and shared how he too got an understanding of this and because I knew exactly what He was trying to express I was able to share the passage I had been soaking in. When I did He said, Yes! That's it!  That's the passage I heard while listening to this word. So we continued to feed  together on the word. Then on another day when I went to take my daughter to dance and got into my husbands car the message He was listening to came on and that exact same scripture came up and I knew that was God.  Then this morning while I was just having some quite time with the Lord, good God Almighty I heard some worshipers start singing that scripture over and over and over and of course that's when I was just instantly thrown into complete worship and awe because I knew that it was God's love finding me and Him telling me, I hear you my daughter. I hear you.  Boy was that was something I knew without doubt was a sign, miracle and wonder from the Lord. Therefore, publicly I say thank you Father for that. It meant the world to me to be able to join with other worshipers who as well felt the same thing as I did. Thank you, thank you, thatnk you.
Not to be answered here but how valuable is God's word to you?

Trust not in Man!

This was a prayer I had for a gentleman as a word of truth from my own experience being that while he was on his assignment to do make certain he put his energy and effort into God instead of man.  For the reason being man can smile, clap, award, etc. when they are happy but yet, that same man when mad can stab you in the back and call all you once did a piece of crap and then be the one to even try to curse your future and so the word came forth in this way.

Trust not in man

But do trust in the one who holds your breath in His hands

See man can lift you high one moment but throw you low the next

But if your trust is solely in the Lord He can give you a secure foundation

See with men who do not know Christ and even with those who haven’t made Him Lord

The things they will do will be done with a motive

Things they feel not only will benefit you but most importantly them

However, in putting your trust in God for the things He does

You can know they are pure and true.

When your dependence is in man

You will always have to exert your energy on trying to please them

And though yes, they may take notice of your efforts for a while

Trust me, when you screw up and you will, they also will notice that too.

And if truth be told, for some once you miss it and mess up it’ll be as if

All other good you did never even existed. 

That’s why our trust needs to be put in the one who is solid instead of shaky and flakey

Yes, put into the one who truly has our best interest at heart

And not in the one who only rewards us for what to them is our excellent performance

But instead into the one who does and gives simply because ultimately He’s God

Who celebrates us yes, when we do well yet, even when we straight miss it

Still His love He tries to communicate.

Therefore, if you instead put your trust in God

Then no matter what man may do in their fickleness

You can know as it pertains to you, you are straight, well secured in Him because with Him

There is no lost effort, with Him there is acknowledgement.

For He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him, trust Him, exalt Him, instead of man

So with Him you cannot go wrong

However, with man that’s a foundation again you build upon I would not, and I repeat, I would not recommend.

Know the doors God opens no man can shut

So in essence, in all that I have just said comes down to His word being Proverbs 3:5-6 which reads: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.

Funny, what will I do?

Speaking about trust I just got news that some stuff has hit the fan as it pertains to someone within the body of Christ doing some unthinkable things. Now the question I pose to myself is this, what will I do with this information will I make the choice to get into the gossip that is getting stirred up over this situation or will I choose to instead take this situation to God in prayer and watch His mighty hand work.  Will I take the path of the majority on this or will I take the difficult way being the path of the minority and instead choose to again put it in prayer and stay focused personally on the path that God has for me.  Well, I am publicly making the decision to take the path of the narrow though it would be so much easier to engage in the gossip that even in this God may be glorified. Father, I thank you now that whether this information is true or not I thank you for the correction and greater reverence it all will bring to you.  I as well thank you for keeping me and helping me to simply keep my eyes on JESUS!

It really is all about Faith, being our Trust!

Today this morning while I was doing devotion with my girls we were looking at the life of Jochebed, do you know who she is?  Well, I didn't and this captured my attention to learn with my children and come to find out she was the mother of Moses. Now being that I have been ministering about Faith lately being our Trust, her life really hit home for me.  One of the things I discovered was that her and her husband Amram being Moses's father was from the tribe of Levi and if you remember from reading about the Levi's they had a special role with God when it came to Him and His things. So what really ministered to me in a vast way was that not only was Jochebed taught about God and His miracles, participated in the things of God, but that when the rubber really met the road and her faith, being her trust, was tested she walked out that trust in such a mighty way. Therefore, instead of doing what she was commanded to do by Pharaoh to kill her son she instead trusted God and hid him and then sent Him down the river right into the very answer of her prayer being safety and protection for her sons life.  And Wow! When I think about her life my prayer for myself is that I too would have that type of faith when my trust is tested and that I too as a result would be able to see God's all powerful hand as a result of my trust in Him. My thought I am left to ponder over is this, sometimes we don't do anything but complain when our trust is tested but it's then that we can really know where we are with our trust. And so, though yes, we may not always rise to the occasion still. we can trust in this truth being Romans 8:28 which reads: And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Father when my trust is put to the test I pray I too would move in faith being my trust in you to do whatever it is that I am requested or faced to do. In Jesus name I pray!

Jesus, You Captivate Me!

The vastness of your love

The immenseness of your forgiveness

The working of the reality of your Holy Spirit within me

My comforter, my healer, the one who leads and
guides me

The revealer of those secret things humm

Lord you captivate me

The working of your power that can truly transform sinners to saints

Your true power that can indeed take the taste of sin and replace it

With a hunger and thirst for righteousness

The power of your acceptance of me even though you know my past, present and future and on that one I have to Selah

Lord you captivate me in knowing not only have you given me life

and life more abundantly here on this earth despite my circumstances

but that there is more in eternity,  much more in heaven a place my mind can hardly fathom where you say I have an inheritance, rewards, not to mention where we will even merge in an ultimate state as one Wow! 

Where I in the son, the son in you, and we as one Wow!

Now that’s what I call in English language slang too deep.

You captivate me Lord in the authority you have released into my care while here on this earth to rule and have dominion even over hell itself

You captivate me with your mind blowing continual blessings, revelation, strength and creativity

Point blank you captivate me!

And just to know I haven’t seen anything yet compared to the totality you desire to show me is wordless…

Because you do go from glory to glory
Jesus You Captivate Me!

Be Deep!

Be Deep

Be a holy a roller

Be deep

Be called so spiritual you are no earthly good

Be mocked

Be shunned because of resisting the ungodly pleasures of this world

Be odd

Be different

Be an outcast to man but known intimately by the Lord

Be persecuted for righteousness sake

Attacked spiritually because of the sacrifices of God you continue to make

Be Strange to the human eye

Not understood for the Lord

Go ahead go against the flow

Go ahead shake up the normal mode

Resist the comfort of sin and let people whether their intensions are for the good or the bad look at you like whoa!

Go ahead and be all of it because the word of God tells us that the things of God to man are foolishness  

Not to mention I am a living witness of how some of the very ones who may call you all of that and then some will one day God willing, come to grasp and understand for their own life God’s plan. And then it will be evident that upon you without doubt has always been God’s hand.

Remember yaw even Jesus himself was said to have been empowered by demons but Jesus, that same person they claimed to be demonic became placed in one of the highest positions. Seated at the right hand side of the Father that now it is at His name everything in heaven and beneath must submit to His authority do you hear me?

So, Hey go ahead and be whatever it is they want to call it

because all that matters in the here and in the now and when it’s all said and done is that in the book of life is written your name.

See what people are seeing is you letting go of control of your life

Giving it over to the one who created you that He may use you the way He originally designed you and it’s that control you’re turning over in order to submit that they just can’t possibly fathom 

Yes you trusting in that in which they can’t see

You listening to one they can’t hear

You having a relationship and deep feelings for one they can’t feel

Listen; do know that is perfectly understandable thus the reason why you have to stay your course and refuse to get side tracked due to others lack of faith. Because you are the blazing torch which is and will help others indeed see their own way.

The Weight

As of lately, I have seen so much breakthrough in the Spirit Realm but yet, at the same time I have felt the weight, and it's funny because I know where it is coming from and I know why. Being again, as I said the major breakthroughs that have happened in the Spirit Realm in many different areas.  And so, what I was divinely lead to do was to meet pressure with pressure and one day it just clicked that I needed to grab my sword being my pen and continue to scribe my blessings, being the things that I have clearly seen the Lord do as of late in my life, and how I also needed to pray in the spirit because for the things I needed to pray for, my mind could not possibly comprehend. Therefore, out of obedience that's exactly what I did and Praise God I have been able to see the weight lift.  I am so grateful thank to the Lord for His weapons that are so effective when we yield to use them.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

God is WOW!

When I think about the Lord and all of His goodness all I can say is WOW!  I mean there are no words that could ever describe the Lord's goodness and His faithfulness in my life. However, though this is true I still can not help but to try to give Him a portion of the praise and worship He is due.  And so, with that being said I like to decree and declare right now how there is No one like you Father, No one! For you stand in place and space in my life that is completely profound and keeps me in a state of complete aweness! To you be all the praise and ALL the GLORY!
