Yesterday’s Praise

Lord, I am not going to depend on the praise of my yesterday to please you in this day

I am not going to do it

Not going to do it

For the reason being the praise of my yesterday is not comparable to the praise of my today

For You Lord, deserve so much more and my praise yesterday was only based off of who I knew you to be in that day

But in this day my love, my gratitude, my understanding of who you are in my spirit is at a whole nother level

So no, I’m not going to depend on my praise of yesterday

My praise I have for you today I believe is more pure

Father, help me to remember all the days of my life how you only called me out of darkness to be a worshiper of your name to declare your goodness, your faithfulness and ascribe to you glory

Therefore, I want to treat today as if I’ve never praised you before and as if I will never have another day after this day to praise you while in the land of the living that is

Help me to remember always that even the ability to praise you within itself is a privilege, an honor, granted access. Because there are those right now who cannot praise you in a way where they know there is breakthrough. Yes, where they know when they send up the praises you are there also to receive it.

See it’s one thing to give something to someone but yet you never know if they ever even got it and or appreciated it.  And then it’s a whole nother experience to give something to someone and you know not only did they receive it but they enjoyed it, accepted it, welcomed it, was blessed and impacted by it.  In other words that it was a sweet smelling aroma.

Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name Hebrews 13:15.
